Its a sad tale of terrible consequences which befall an otherwise decent man driven to
an act of desperation against his entire community who he feels has abandoned his dear
family to quite possibly starve to death, when clearly no such a condition affecting his
family in such a community as he relates to with real merit should ever have allowed.

One of the best movies of the Swedish crop in addition to the likes of "Mother of Mine"
